The beautiful Otago Harbour looks majestic in black and white.
I’ve posted a different version of this before, but it’s perfect for this challenge. Using black and white in this picture allowed me the chance to bring out the contrast of the kowhai shadow on the wing.
God’s creation is amazing. We live surrounded in colour, admiring it’s beauty in the different seasons. Yet here we strip the colour away and it allows us to see subtle detail we otherwise might miss. The depths of detail in creation are just amazing.
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
Colossians 1:16 ESV
Yes, the invisible and the visible, big and small, were made by Jesus for Jesus. Thank you Lord for the amazing depths to your creativity.

It was a great honour to be selected as an ‘Honourable Mention Winner’ in this weeks Wild Photo Challenge. It is great to receive encouragement from some very talented photographers. Thank you.
