Weekly Photo Challenge – Changing Seasons

IN A NEW POST CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PICTURE THAT MEANS CHANGING SEASONS TO YOU. Check out more entries here.

Living in a City where we often see four seasons in one day and the changing of seasons more subtle made this more of a challenge.  We are moving from spring into summer and today I took a walk with the camera appreciating the vibrant colours amongst the humming of the bees.

All this vibrant colour and talking of changing seasons reminds me of the wonderful song…

INDESCRIBABLE

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation’s revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings, all exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky
And You know them by name
You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable
Awestruck we fall to our knees
And we humbly proclaim
That You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night, none can fathom

Incomparable, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart
And You love me the same
You are amazing God, You are amazing God
You are amazing God

    These are beautiful shots… 🙂

    • They are. It’s a pity that often I don’t even stop to notice. It’s so nice to have a sunny sunday afternoon to stroll with the camera, and the kids, to take time to notice and enjoy.

Beautiful pictures and love the use of depth of field on the last picture of the group. I would say the name of the flower if I knew it, my poor wife has tried to teach me the names of flowers, trees and plants for over 35 years without success, needless to say she has now given up. Wishing you a very happy Christmas and New Year. Ian
